About the Fest
The annual Branford Festival spans three days on Father’s Day weekend. Thousands of local residents, families and friends gather to enjoy live music, over a dozen food vendors, local talent, kids activities, crafts and more.
The final day of the festival includes the Branford Road Race on Sunday, which includes a 1 Miles Family Fun Run, 2 Mile Health Walk and 5 Miles Road Race.
How We Operate
The Branford Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is fully run by volunteers, including a Committee and Corporate Board.
Our volunteer committee brings the event to life by coordinating everything from entertainment to food vendors to souvenirs. The Corporate Board oversees policies and procedures, and make key decisions to ensure the event succeeds year after year. Both our Committee and Corporate Board meet monthly.
Volunteerism
On Festival weekend, we rely on dozens of volunteers to ensure the event runs smoothly. From set-up to trash collection to kids activities to cooking fried dough and more.
We encourage community members to give back by donating their time and talents to help ensure our festival remains a free and welcoming celebration for all. Students grades 9-12 can earn volunteer hours.
Fundraise for the Fest
As a non-profit organization, the Branford Festival is supported by donations from community members and local business partners.
As we plan for this year and beyond, we need your help. We ask that you give back and get involved by making a donation. Your dollars – large or small – will ensure the Branford Festival can continue for years to come.
