Commemorate the Branford Festival

2024 Branford Festival Print

In Bloom

In Bloom, a 13” x 20” watercolor, captures a summer day along the Branford shoreline. After spending the afternoon sketching, artist PJ Cook, was inspired by the beautiful variety of colorful flowers and birdhouses.

About the Artist: PJ Cook

Inspired by the tranquil shores, charming lighthouses, and picturesque seaside villages of the region, PJ Cook brings these scenes to life with the use of color, light, and texture.

Her passion for painting began at a young age and has developed into a lifelong career as an artist since graduating from Paier College of Art with a BFA. As a native of Northford, PJ has spent countless hours boating and fishing in the Branford area. Currently, she spends her time between Northford, CT and Fort Lauderdale, FL.

PJ is inspired by the works of art that transports viewers to the serene shores of New England and the sun-drenched beaches of Florida through the mediums of watercolor and oil paint.
